Letter April 18th, 2012

We received Tyler's first letter and thought we would share some of it with you.

Dear Family,
From the point you dropped me off into the capable hands of that missionary, it was all a well oiled machine.  They took me in, gave me my mission tag and other misc. things, and sent me off to find my room.  I was the first to arrive, and so after dropping some of my stuff off, I was wisked away to my first class. Somehow my guide and I ended up in the wrong building, in the wrong classroom, so that was kinda funny.

As soon as we got to the right room it felt like I was way in over my head.  A very friendly couple of missionaries that were to be our teachers were there.  They each said less than 5 words in English in the next TWO hours!  Luckily they were Utroligt! (awesome) He said he wasn't sure how to pronounce that yet:)

There are 4 of us going to Denmark, Eldste Wiber, Eldste Elbury and Eldste Kristenson (Pronouced the same as Christensen).

After dinner we did an activity that was quite frankly awesome and sobering.  In a group of about 2 dozen missionaries, we did teaching to investigators.  It was a little scary how well these actors did.  It couldn't have gotten closer to the real thing.  The purpose was to listen to the spirit to better teach the people, and the Spirit was there for REAL.  Very intense.

Thanks for all the support today!
Love you all!

Eldste Christensen
